it's the final countdown...

today i realised that i missed the 100-countdown, damn! i cannot believe there are only 95 days left until take-off. this makes me a bit nervous. am i ready to rumble? what do you think?

yesterday we had a very nice dinner with kemal, emrah and his cute girl-friend mimi. it was a great evening with delicious food by le chef de la cuisine himself, a rough brush up of our little beginner turkish, lots of drinks & laughs, plus interesting talks served with coffee. a lot of questions have been answered. a lot of dreams have been created. new job ideas have emerged. thank you all for these perfect moments!

WE CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE TO SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY WITH ALL THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!!

today we received the photos of our very soon home ... and i love it!

i immediately fell in love with the kitchen as it is in my favourite colour orange! yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. of course, there is a lot to do and we have to consider that the house was empty for many, many years. but i am looking forward to this work: painting, cleaning, decorating... cannot wait for may to come! especially for the garden i have a lot of plans, with flowers, bushes, bunnies, chickens etc. the bath tube is very cute, too. i love those 70s-designs. but why do i talk so much? am excited. but have a look at the pics yourself.

there's a light...

there are big lights at the end of the tunnel! despite having to do about a thousand things before we will leave germany, anticipations become more and more pleasant. plastic daydreams turn up more and more often ... I can nearly imagine my first walk on the beach. the smell of melounda. and the sun burning on my skin. i start feeling free! cyprus will revive me - i am so sure about it. and i do look so much forward for may to come...

great feelings, indeed!

oh my, the new year 2012 is already 5 days old... a lot of things happended within the last days. i told my bosses at work that i am leaving. it became a silent drama! hope everything will get sorted within the next weeks and things will turn out well. will give a more detailed report asap. am off now to organise about 1,000 things ;)
